Agent reveals Liverpool, Chelsea keen on Fenerbahce wing-back Caner Erkin

The agent of Fenerbahce wing-back Caner Erkin has revealed the interest of Liverpool and Chelsea.

Erkin comes off contract next month.

“However, a few clubs have made offers for Caner, two clubs from England have made a bid and he has also received offers from Spain and Italy.

“We have received offers but have not held direct talks with any club yet, first of all we are going to listen to Fenerbahce‘s offer. We have not received an offer from Inter. Reports that we have held talks are a complete fabrication.”

Chelsea boss Mourinho only thinking of Hazard stay

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists Eden Hazard will be staying next season.

The Belgian will hope to shine on the global stage this summer in Brazil to cap a campaign that on an individual level did not often waver from exceptional.

Mourinho told chelseafc.com: “Eden has had a big evolution in his game and a big evolution in his personality. He had a high that lasted for a long time – many, many months. He couldn’t finish on a high because he was injured and in the most important moment of the season – for the second leg against Paris, for the first leg against Atletico – he was not there.

“Against Atletico in the second leg he was there but not in top condition. He wasn’t there for the last few matches of the Premier League because of his injury, but he was clearly a player with a big evolution and hopefully he will be even better next season.”

Sandro was quoted in the Brazilian declaring he expected Sherwood to be axed at the end of the season.

“If I need any information I’m better off asking the players,” Sherwood said.

“He is not the first player to have asked me. He hasn’t actually asked me, he has just given his opinion to someone.

“I’m not sure if the chairman has spoken to Sandro but obviously someone has told him, the players see a lot of speculation don’t they.

“It begins to be more than that, I have had a lot of players come to me and say their agents have told them that I’m not going to be here next year, it is a very difficult situation but I have got to get on with it.”
